Just came back from the camp organised by the debating team of international law, the other club I joined in Waseda University. Nows the Shinkan(orientation) period, the seniors bring us around to COMPA(drinking) or some group outings.
We went to the Ueno Zoo the other day.
So some pics from the Ueno Zoo outings and the camp at Kawaguchi lake.

Hakkaku team at Kawaguchi Lake.

Pure blue sky and shining water. Just too beautiful.

Any idea what this sign means?? It was on the door leading to the sports hall.

Today I received the letter from Yichun and an e-mail from Sarah :) :) THANKS SO MUCH!

Will definitely reply to them.

AND I'm sending out postcards/photo cards to my friends in Singapore. Sending in random order so pls leave me a note on the tagboard or drop me an email informing me that u've received it.

Substitute holiday tomorrow. Maybe going to Harajuku for shopping :p

hanami @ Friday, April 27, 2007

Photos from the SILS picnic (hanami) which was held on the 5th of this month.

Picnic at Okuma Garden House. The clock tower behind is the Okuma Auditorium.

Group 10. Fellow schoolmates from SILS :)

KOZUE :) She was the first Japanese girl friend I made in SILS.
We bumped into each other before the English Placement Test, coincidentally met each other at the entrance ceremony, coincidentally met before going for out medical check-up...etc...
Kozue Kawaii!

Ayumi senpai, the senior who was in-charge of our group.
Hmm, she is like an OGL.

Going for another gasshuku(camp) tomorrow. This time I'm going with the people from `the debating team of international law', to Kawaguchi-ko(lake).

SO ciao, gotta bathe and pack my stuff for tomorrow.

I have an essay outline due tomorrow at 10pm...

Title:
Explain how three modern technologies are being used in the fight to conserve endangered animals.

I want my GP notes!!!!!!!!

How do i write a thesis statement again?

--------

Attended the introductory course for life science today.
Scientific terms such as Escherichia Coli and Saccharomyces Cerevisae...reminds me of 'A' Levels mugging period. My lecturer mentioned that she may select 2 students to go to the City of Hope( California) for a 4 weeks research program.
OMG, thats so cool...Going to the National Medical Center/Cancer Center/School of Biological Studies (one of them, I don't know which) to study for 4 weeks.
Will look out for more information.

Okay, back to essay back to essay...

do you believe in @ Monday, April 23, 2007

As I mentioned in the last entry...PHOTOS from the magic club gasshuku(camp)!
Yes, I've joined the magic club. What do I do there? Learn magics??
...Wait and see till I fly back to Singapore.

The gasshuku was at Yamanaka-ko (Yamanaka-Lake). The view was awesome, the air was so fresh, the weather was cold but I love it, had hanabi, dodge ball match and I went to Onsen( Hot Spring) with my female senpais :D I LOVE HOT SPRINGS!
As usual, it was the Nomi-kai in the late night. Nomi is 'drink' and Kai is 'session'.
SO...'DRINKING SESSION'?? SOmething like that.
There were games, quizs and lots of drinking(for the guys/not me)

PHOTOSPHOTOSPHOTOS!
SOrry they are of bad quality, cos I took them with an instant camera and simply scanned them into my computer.

TATAMI ROOM! Girls and the pile of snacks on the table.
From left to right.
Aki-san,Yukako-san, Nozomi-chan, me, Seshia-san, Mai-san, Moro-san.

DUCKS *QUACK QUACK*
Potato Chips as the beaks. Aki-san taught me this.
Aki-san here, is my cool senior from SILS. She is pretty, stylish and most importantly..kind and reliable!! She was the (sort of) in-charge for the freshmen orientation within the club.
Awwww, I admire her x)

'ICHIJO' ( First Year Girls.)
From left to right.
Wakana-chan,Kazumi-chan,me,Ayano-chan, Nozomi-chan, Kunkun(friend from China!)
I don't really know why but the senpais treat ICHIJOS like princesses...
Theres some sort of hierarchy in the club and ICHIJOS belong to the top.

I love my fellow ICHIJOS :)
Nozomi-chan is our idol and Wakana-chan is our Madonna.
Me?? Mother...same as what I was like previously in the council xD

PART 2 of DUCKS *QUACK* I look red but I swear I wasn't drunk. Abit high...though.
Second Year Guys..Aikawa-senpai, Miyashita-senpai, me.
Right now, Miyashita-senpai is responsible for the card magic lecture sessions.
He is one kind gentleman & a great magician :) I must say, he and Aki-san are the two most approachable senpais to me.
Oh yes, he may be reading my blog cos I gave him the web addie...*waves hands for no apparent reason*

Happy unit!
Back row: Kourou-san
Front row: Me, Nozomi-chan, Seiya-san, Kaji-senpai.
Seiya-san is a Fourth Year Senpai and his stage magic is seriously pro.
Kaji-san was the first person in the club who showed card magic to me.
His professional card handling skills and his sweet mask...nothing to say :p
Kourou-san is from GakuShu-In, the college(with many affiliates) where the young members of the royal family are enrolled (@_@)

Day2.
Aki-san, Kunkun and I in the swan boat( which u paddle to make the boat move).
The SILS unit of Magic Club :)

Group shot after an hour of continuous paddling of boats.
Mt. Fuji in the background, SEE IT!!!??!?!!??!?
I love the members from Magic Club x)

The first neoprint I took with my fellow freshmen of Magic Club.
Random Order:
Tenkoh-kun, Risa-chan, Pakkun, Wakana-chan, Satoh-kun, Nozomi-chan.
I look retarded but never mind...
OKIE DO, shall post photos from SILS in my next entry.
Going for a bath.

SILS Entrance Ceremony on 2nd April.

SILS entrance ceremony held in Okuma Memorial Hall.

How crazy Clubs and Circles Orientation in Waseda is.
The senpais(seniors) stationed themselves outside the Memorial Hall.
I was brought to a booth by a 3rd year senpai called Junki-san.
Guess which club I joined :)

Okuma Memorial Hall.
I went for my 2nd club lecture meeting today!!!
It was fun, as usual xD
The senpais brought us out for dinner and bowling after the meeting.
These senpais are so so so so kind.
And so I'll be posting photos from my club next time!

Second @ Friday, April 06, 2007

Went for my second COMPA.
Despite having a terrible sore throat and headache due to lack of sleep, i still drank...
Turned red towards the end but I didn't get drunk.
But the seniors(senpai) from the club are really kind, and they don't force girls to drink(some clubs do). I managed to meet some Yuu-Haku fans as well xD
Kunkun, Mikari, lets meet up to talk about YuuHaku next time--!!!!

So, one pic from today's COMPA.

From front to back.
Megumi, me, Kunkun, Ren senpai, Miyashita senpai.

I may be going for the club camp(gasshuku) next week x)

Tmr is my Grandma's birthday and I'll be going all the way to Chiba...
Then coming back to Shinjuku for another COMPA by the baseball club. Going there with Nozomi :)

Oh, and its great seeing tags by people whom I thought they wouldn't visit my blog :D
