I'm off to Kuala Lumpur for one day, not for shopping, but to accompany my Mum for her business trip. I may be able to help her at the Japanese School there, attending to some mama-sans, haha.Talking about mama-sans(my way of addressing housewives), the restaurant was really busy today. Walking into the kitchen, out of the kitchen, walking to the lobby court to fetch tiger draft beer and some juices, refilling green tea for guests, clearing used tables, setting new tables, answering calls for reservation, walking the guests to their seats...etc...
After all those, I just rested at the service station to observe the surrounding(whether I missed out any task) and another waitress said, "Why you just standing there ah"( in an ultra bitxxy manner).

And yes, I just got noticed about the release of 'A' Level results on Friday.
Getting imprisoned in the hotel for the whole day from 10am to 12mn is unhealthy, cos I'll get shut off from all the press releases xp
I may give the impression that I do not really bother about my results, but no.
Although I already have a position in the university, it does not give me an excuse of not being concerned about them.
On the brighter side, I'm looking forward to meeting my school mates on friday.

I LOST MY SPECS!!!!!!!!!!!!*sobs* I'm really sad about it :( Pls let me kill the person who stole my specs from the restroom opposite victoria bar in inter-continental hotel!!!!!
I loved my specs alot, I loved the way my specs made me look like an otaku or sometimes, a nerd in the library...And the purple colour was fashionable.

HAPPY LUNAR NEW YEAR :)My Chinese New Year was spent in the restaurant working as a waitress!!!
No Life...??
Not really, cos I do not have relatives to visit in Singapore.
Besides, the managers, chefs and guests in the restaurant gave me ang paos :p
And in fact, I'm alright with the job at the restaurant now. Not as intimidating as before.
I guess it all got to do with experience gained day by day.
My flight to Japan/Narita Airport is confirmed on the 23rd March.
1 month to go.
I'm sorry Peiyi, I won't be able to celebrate your b'day :(
On a happier note for myself...I MAY BE ABLE TO MEET MEGUMI OGATA THE NEXT DAY :D :D :D

Yay, it was my off-day today!!By the way, I blogged a month ago that I've quit the work at the restaurant, but I resumed it last week. Firstly, my new job at the bencoolen street office is TOO flexible. Although the pay is good, the working hours is short and I'm only required to go when I am needed (and I'm not needed for the time being). And I hope to work now, not slack around.
Moreover, next week is CNY, occasion when the restaurant would be busy.
On some days, I am working as the greeter of the restaurant, answering phone calls, keying in reservations, showing my wide big smile to guests. Drop by at Shangri-la Hotel :)
So anyway, my off-day was well spent(i think).
Woke up at 8.40am. The usual things: breakfast, laundry, watering the plants..etc...
One thing different, I made chocolate truffe in the morning.
I didn't have time to make some chocolate sweeties on valentine's this year. Today's one was just a practice session, shall make more on my next offday so I could give them to my friends :)
After watching 2,3 episodes of SailorMoon on Youtube (xp), I ironed my clothes in the living room, while watcing 9 episodes of Yuu Yuu Hakusho. Since the day I watched Shokotan on YouTube, the otaku craze is back in me.
I'm also addicted to mixi surfing now :D Searching for people who likes and draws Yuu Yuu Hakusho. And maybe get some kurama cosplay advices from them xp
After the anime marathon for the whole day, I made dinner for brother and myself.
Challenged making Mince Katsu (^w^) Whats Mince Katsu?
Its like a Tonkatsu( the meat on Katsu-don) just that I used mince meat.
Together with some brocolli+asparagus+corn+mushroom with white cream sauce, the dinner tonight was quite well cooked (v ^o^ v)
Working tmr, so I better bathe and go to bed already.
Abwa, I forgot to clean the bath room today (O o O)

one of the reasons why i miss school so much:no more chocolates,sweets,flowers,hugs and wished to share with my school friends on valentine's day.
how i spent my valentine's day last year:
+ made strawberry chocolate for my friends
+ made chocolate cake for my J1 class
+ received lots of sweets and cards from my friends.
+ donated blood
+ just had loads of fun and love
how i spent my valentine's day this year:
+served food to couples who were enjoying their vday dinner
+spent the whole day (11am-11pm) in the restaurant
+had a 1hr training/meeting on hotel principles during my breaktime from work
+brought home 3 left over roses from the restaurant(i take it as a gift from kurama)
nobody knows.
Nobody knows how I felt when I went back to my room. The reason why I cried.
But as usual, you were there for me.
Just your voice will do.

Omg, shokotan is so cute!!!! Just watched her video on Youtube. And her otaku style is really similar to mine.
I'll go crazy if I see Koichi from Kinki Kids cosplaying as kurama.

My otaku craze is back.
I am still a YuuYuuHakusho and Megumi Ogata otaku afterall.
Today at work, I was suppose to research about surface treatment by Japanese aluminium companies. And I came across this website which explained why aluminium needs surface treatment, and they started to describe in depth the process of anodising, including equations and a table stating the physical and chemical properties of Al. Being an ex-chemistry student, I got so excited that I forgot about my work, and started to scroll down the whole page xD
Dinner with Yichun's family at JUNCTION8 :D The fried rice, xiao long baos and red bean desserts were all so yummy (><) !!!!!! DIET?? Nah, who cares, I think its the basic manners to finish as much food on the table when u're being treated.
Bought clothes from bishan SEIYU, and walked all the way from Bishan to Toa Payoh as a after-meal workout. Took 153 back home.
And I've been spending the past few hours writing this post while watching Shokotan on YouTube.
I am really worried for my mum who is in Japan now. She is ill, alone in the hotel :(
I should have gone with her, like seriously...

Was out the whole day.Met Adyee at orchard mrt in the afternoon for lunch :) Ajisen Ramen was better than i thought.
Took a bus to Scgs to meet Yichun, i think she performed well for her 'O' Levels.
It'll be my turn next next week (>.<)
We shared an Ice Kachang in Toa Payoh, I went to her house, met Yining in TP central at 6pm plus :) :) :) Missed her so much!!
Terence and Daniel joined us in MOS BURGER. Now the only thing we do when we meet up is to complain about our job xp Oh wells, they're still doing well.
Unfortunately, I had to leave earlier for my family dinner @ River Valley, so I hope for a longer chat session soon :(

Hm, writing about what happened today... I, together with my fangirl partner(Yichun) went back to SCGS to visit the Art Club( which we think it could be disbanded anytime this year).
Unfortunately, there were no CCA meetings so we decided to rest in the canteen for a while.
The few min break turned out to be a 3hrs talking session. Yay, I like fangirls talk, and Yichun is one of the very few friends whom I could be honest with. She complains about her life back in school and at home while I listen, and I'll complain about whatever thing I have now while she listen.
And we'll most probably meet up again on Friday, after she receives her "O" Level results.
Don't be too anxious :(

I've been facing this mood swing recently. Mostly cos of my job.
I'm "unemployed" for this 1-2 weeks, due to some reasons in the office.
Although i know that it can't be helped, its quite frustrating cos i want to work and i need to work. Please don't treat me like some free-lance translator who could pop by in the office anytime when i'm needed.
I can't stand myself spending the whole day doing nothing but staying at home or strolling in town. Will try to work a way out...
At least, watching nodame cantabile makes me laugh.
It may be naive but I got a feeling that I'll have chances to meet such unique and crazy people in University. But not as handsome as Chiaki(Tamaki Hiroshi)...
7 weeks to Japan. Hope to meet up with my friends.
Right now, AdYee is the first on my list :) :)
And VDay is coming. Well, i do not have any plans so i shall go to the bloodbank to donate blood :p Forget not, prepare gifts for my friends.
