18h birthday @ Saturday, September 23, 2006
I turned 18 last saturday(16th sept).A word of thanks to ALL my friends who wished me happy birthday =)
My sis and her bf gave me a surprise at 1am in the midnight. The tcc cake, bouquet of flowers and adidas jacket were just lovely. My mum was away for business trip, but it was perfectly alright cos my sister cared for me =)My mum made a phone call from Japan too.
foursome outing in the night. Going out two days before math paper 2 prelims was quite suicidal but I just have to thank these girls for celebrating my birthday.
and bbq party with my council friends yesterday. It was more like a " prelims are over! lets slack out! party" for me :P Glad quite a no. of them turned up.
Thanks for the flowers, soft toys, cap, gigantic slippers, accessories, cards!
Hope the councilors also had fun, and have recharged to work hard for another month =)

To me, "birthday" is the day when i'll be reminded of the relationship with my mum. I think the very first person who you've establish a close relationship with is your mother. There is something between the two, even before u make your first appearance in this world. And this is not something physical like an umbilical cord or placenta or what. And maybe thats because I feel that I am strongly bonded to my mum.
Thank you for giving birth to me on this particular day 18 years ago.
